<p>We are excited to announce that tickets are available for a &#8220;not your every day Ed show&#8221; at SubCulture on June 17th in NYC.</p>
<p>A unique evening of multimedia, the show will begin with the release of Ed&#8217;s EPK, followed by his performance with visual artist Shantell Martin whose live interpretive illustrations of the music will be projected throughout the experience.  Above is a graphic of their collaboration on &#8220;Breakfast for One on the Fifth of July.&#8221;</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We are elated to announce that Ed has been named winner of the 2013 New Folk competition at the Kerrville Folk Festival along with artists Paul Sachs, Honor Finnegan, Eric Bettancourt, Adrianne Lenker, and Ellis Delaney.  With close to 800 entries, the field was narrowed down to 32 finalists who performed through the Memorial Day weekend, with only six receiving the prestigious honor.  With this award comes the opportunity to play the festival at any time in the future.  Ed humbly stated regarding his achievement, &#8220;I am very proud to be in such great company of all who played&#8230;and have played.&#8221;</p>
<p>During his brief performance on Saturday, May 25th, he performed &#8220;Breakfast for One on the 5th of July&#8221; and &#8220;St.Vincent de Paul.&#8221;  The six winners are invited to play 20-minute sets on Sunday, June 2nd from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.  Full day festival tickets are <a title="Kerrville Folk Festival Tickets" href="https://tickets.kerrville-music.com/buy.php" target="_blank">available here</a>.</p>
